Serving the Word: Mk 6: 45-52

THURSDAY, JANUARY 9TH

Mark 6, 45-52:
“Come on, it’s me, don’t be afraid.”

We don’t trust Jesus.
The disciples have the contrary wind.
Fear makes them cry out because they think they see a ghost. They don’t trust Jesus either.
But it is Jesus who calms the winds and dispels the fears.
Put all your fears and apprehensions in the hands of Jesus.
Let yourself be led by him.
Today, rekindle your trust in Jesus.
He also says to you: “Courage, it is I, do not be afraid!” Abandon yourself into his hands with absolute trust. He is your saving rock.
Good day.
