Fr. Anil Minj, CMF, and Fr. Gerry, CMF, are the two Claretians currently experiencing the Forge in English. Nearly 500 Claretians have already undergone this time of encounter with God and with the profound meaning of their missionary vocation. Here are some of the reflections our brothers are sharing during this time.
“The term ‘Forge’ refers to the metaphorical and symbolic experience of a blacksmith’s workshop, which St Anthony Mary Claret himself went through (AUT No. 342). It is a formative process that we, as missionaries, go through to reconnect with our own vocational journey and that of others. It is a path of self-knowledge and inner exploration that helps us to identify where our missionary calling gets stuck and to strengthen our intimate relationship with God and the deeper meaning of being sent.”
