SATURDAY 8th JANUARY 2022
Mark 6, 34-44:
” Give them something to eat yourselves”.
The people crowd around Jesus because they are like sheep without a shepherd.
They do not even notice that it is getting late.
It is the disciples who realise that it is getting late and they want to leave soon.
But Jesus is in no hurry. He even tells them to feed themselves.
Go to Jesus. He will never be in a hurry not to take care of you.
And listen also to his command: “You give them something to eat”.
He wants to use you to satisfy every kind of hunger.
Put your five loaves and two fish in his hands and you will see how he does everything else. Put into his hands what little you have and he will perform the miracle.
