SATURDAY 5 DECEMBER 2020
Matthew 9, 35-10, 1.6-8:
“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom and curing every disease and sickness”:
+ How are you announcing the Gospel of the Kingdom?
+ What diseases and illnesses are you willing to heal and cure during these days of Advent?
“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were weary and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd”:
+ Are you willing or able to care for people who are abandoned and tired?
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the master of the harvest to send workers into his harvest”:
+ Do you consider yourself a worker in the Lord’s field?
+ Do you pray that the Lord will send labourers into his harvest?
“Go to the lost sheep of Israel”:
+ Do you care for those who are far away or who have never been in a church?
Keep some of these phrases from today’s Gospel and some of these questions and meditate on them during this day.
Good day.
