SATURDAY 3RD OCTOBER
Luke 10, 17-24:
“The seventy-two returned very joyful and said to Jesus, ‘Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name He said to them, ‘Rejoice, for your names are written in heaven’.
The seventy-two disciples whom Jesus had sent a few days earlier to proclaim the Good News returned to Jesus rejoicing.
They have experienced that with Jesus joy is created and recreated. Jesus too is infected with this joy and praises the Father because he reveals to the simple ones the joy of the Gospel.
He works to live in simplicity and joy.
Remember that the Father has your name written in heaven. And may this fill you with contagious joy.
Catch the Gospel! You will see that you can trample on “snakes” and “scorpions”.
