WEDNESDAY 3rd MAY 2023
John 14, 6-14:
“Jesus said to his disciples: whoever has seen me has seen the Father.”
Jesus is the human version of God.
The Father loves us so much that he wanted us to see him, to hear him, to feel him… as we human beings see, hear and feel.
Jesus Christ, God made man, reveals to us who the Father is. His words, his deeds, his feelings, his whole life, is the sacrament of the Father, which is like saying that Jesus is the visible version of God.
Jesus Christ is the incarnate love of the Father. If you want to know God, know Jesus Christ.
To the extent that you draw near and know Jesus, you will draw near and know the Father. For the Father is in Jesus and Jesus is in the Father.
Make a resolution to draw near to Jesus every day to get to know him more and more and to discover and feel more and more the love that the Father has for you and for us.
