THURSDAY 3rd FEBRUARY 2022
Mark 6, 7-13:
“They went out to preach conversion, cast out many demons, anointed many sick people with oil and cured them.”
Jesus chose the Twelve “to be with him and to send them out to preach”.
Today it is time for that sending out.
And we see that the proclamation of the Good News is not only by word of mouth.
To the Twelve he also entrusts the mission of “casting out demons” and “healing the sick”.
Today too, our words as believers must be accompanied by concrete deeds and signs, because there are many evils that enslave and many sufferings that need to be healed.
Stop today and look around you.
Perhaps you have the opportunity to cast out a “demon” and to cure a “sick person”.
Don’t waste it. Jesus sends you to give freedom and joy.
