WEDNESDAY 22nd SEPTEMBER 2021
Luke 9, 1-6:
“When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority over all kinds of demons and to cure diseases. Then he sent them out to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick”.
Jesus chose the Twelve to be with him and to send them out to preach.
Today the time has come for this sending out and we see that the proclamation of the Good News is not only by word of mouth.
The Twelve are also entrusted with the mission of casting out demons and healing the sick. Also today our words as believers must be accompanied by concrete deeds because there are many evils that enslave and many sufferings to be healed.
Stop today and look around you. Perhaps you have the opportunity to cast out a “demon” and to “cure the sick”.
Don’t waste it.
Jesus sends you to give freedom and joy.
