TUESDAY 13th SEPTEMBER 2022
Luke 7, 11-17:
“Do not weep!”… My boy, I say to you: get up!”.
Jesus does not only console with words. He also consoles with deeds.
In the face of human pain and tragedy he feels pity, his heart is moved, like this widowed woman who is also mourning the loss of her only son.
And Jesus acts. He does not remain a mere sentiment. By restoring life to the widow’s only son, he restores in her a life full of hope.
You are a follower of Jesus. Try also to wipe away tears and restore hope.
Fight against everything that harms God’s dream for humanity. You will be happy sowing happiness. Never doubt that he who sows bliss is and will be blessed.
