SATURDAY 13th MAY 2023
John 15, 18-21:
“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.”
Jesus in his earthly life experienced rejection, ignorance, persecution and even death.
And the disciple is not greater than his master.
If Jesus experienced all this, the disciple of Jesus must also be prepared to suffer rejection, persecution and even death.
Today there are many Christians who suffer all these kinds of persecution, denial, suffering and even death.
We pray today for so many Christians who, because they follow Jesus, are mistreated, discriminated against, hated and even suffer martyrdom.
May you too be courageous so that in the midst of difficulties you may stand firm in the confession of your faith and in following your Lord Jesus Christ.
