The Province of Fátima has established an Ownership Team (OT) for its Claretian schools in Spain: Don Benito, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and Seville. This initiative addresses the need for more professional and integrated management, strengthening the Claretian educational network by enhancing coordination and collaboration.
The OT will serve as an executive and management body to ensure identity, mission, and sustainability. Simultaneously, it will assist in preparing the schools with stronger organizational and legal frameworks for the process currently being studied by the so-called Core Team, in collaboration with the Provinces of Santiago and Sanctus Paulus, aiming to coordinate the 14 Claretian schools in Spain.
The team comprises Fr. Juan José García as General Director, along with area leaders: Fr. Martín Areta (Pastoral), Mr. Pedro Batista (Finance), Mr. Francisco Cantudo (Human Resources and Legal Affairs), and Mr. Luis Alfonso García (Pedagogy).
The new delegated School Heads will be: Ms. Martina Gómez (Don Benito), Fr. Miguel Álvarez (Las Palmas de G. C.), and Mr. Fernando Soriano (Seville). This new structure will be implemented in the 2025/2026 academic year, starting on September 1st.
