The ordination of students Looklife Ndhlovu and Nyasha Choga to the diaconate was a joyous occasion in our Zimbabwe mission recently.
The ordination was originally scheduled for 6 August, but the measures taken by the government to curb the incidence of COVID made it necessary to postpone the ordination. The ordination was finally held on 26 August at the Claret College premises in Chiutsi, Zhomba Mission. The ordaining minister was Mgr Rudolph Nyandoro, apostolic administrator of Gokwe.
Together with our mission brothers, some diocesan priests and religious, as well as Looklife and Nyasha’s family members, also participated in the ordination.
We wish them both that the ordination they have received will increase their fidelity and commitment to the Christian community they are called to serve.
