A SPACE FOR DISCERNMENT AND MISSION

According to the Constitutions of the Claretian Missionaries, the Provincial Chapter is the governing body that represents the entire Province. Within it, the provincial situation is assessed, the general guidelines of the Congregation are adapted to the local context, and the Provincial Superior and his team are elected for the next six years. It is, in essence, the moment to discern together the will of God in the present context and to chart the path to be followed.

In this way, more than fifty representatives take part: some by virtue of their current responsibilities, such as the superiors of the communities and the provincial government; and others elected from among the members of the Province. Moreover, this process is carried out not only at the provincial level, but also at the level of the entire Congregation every six years, as was the case at the General Chapter of 2021, held in Nemi, Italy.

In the case of the Province of Fátima, its first Chapter was held in 2019 and, now, in 2025, we are celebrating a new Chapter in order to continue this mission. We count on your prayer.
