Serving the Word: John 16: 5-11

John 16, 5-11:
“It is for your own good that I am going because unless I go, the Advocate will not come to you, but if I do go, I will send him to you.”

Jesus continues to tell us about the Holy Spirit.
Visibly, He disappears from among the disciples, but promises the presence of the Holy Spirit who will always accompany his followers.
The Holy Spirit accompanies us offering fullness of life, infusing encouragement and courage, help and strength in our Christian journey.
The Holy Spirit defends us against the lie, protects us from cowardice, enlightens our lives, gives us patience in temptation and makes us keep hope and the flame of faith alive .
During these days before Pentecost call on the Holy Spirit more frequently and let yourself be guided by Him.
You will feel his strength and you will see your mission, here and now, with the clarity that he will give you.
Good day.
