Serving the Word: John 14: 21-26

John 14, 21-26:
“Anybody who receives my commandments and keeps them will be the one who loves me; and anyone who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I shall love him and show myself to him.”

Jesus focuses all the commandments into one: “Love one another as I have loved you”.
He loves us until the end, until the last drop of his life.
To love as Jesus does is also love until the end, until the last drop of our life.
Let us not deceive ourselves: to love Jesus is to accept and keep his commandment.
Only by fulfilling this commandment can we begin to talk about our love for Jesus Christ and, ultimately, for God.
To accept and keep Jesus’ commandment is to love your neighbour with a love that embraces, improves and helps them grow.
Today you can take the pulse of your love for Jesus by taking the pulse of your love for others.
Good day.
