Last Thursday 25th May, at the Claret Granada Residence they were fortunate to connect live and have the opportunity to chat with Pope Francis through the project “Being Together”, organised by the Scholas Foundation, an event that was broadcast internationally thanks to Telemundo.
One of the residents had the opportunity to ask His Holiness if he remembered any conversation with an elderly person during his youth, to which the Pope responded with a personal experience with his own grandparents and told them the importance of learning from the experience of the elderly, and above all what they can contribute to society.
It was an unrepeatable experience, very emotional and enriching.
