TUESDAY 2nd MAY 2023
John 10, 22-30:
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and I give them eternal life”.
The Jews still do not believe in Jesus.
Their blindness and closed-mindedness prevent them from seeing the signs of salvation that Jesus performs.
Their deafness to the word of Jesus also prevents them from understanding the meaning of these words.
They do not understand and do not want to understand.
They do not listen and do not want to listen.
Because they want to understand what they want and they also want to hear what they want to hear.
Stand unconditionally before Jesus and open yourself unconditionally to His Word.
Let him lead you.
He will give you new eyes and a new heart to see and understand him.
You will receive new life from him and no one will be able to snatch you out of his hand.
In you his Word will be fulfilled: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and I give them eternal life; they shall not perish forever, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand”.
