WEDNESDAY 4th MAY 2022
John 6, 35-40:
“I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst”.
Jesus is the BREAD OF LIFE. Jesus feeds us with his own life.
His life is a life given to the last drop of his blood and poured out so that his project of boundless love may be implanted in the world and in every human being.
Jesus’ plan of love is to establish the kingdom of truth, peace, justice and freedom.
This is true life. Come to Jesus in the Eucharist. You will not go hungry and you will not go thirsty.
Your surrender to him will satisfy all your “hunger” and quench all your “thirst”.
And also your surrender and your union with him will impel you to lead others to Jesus so that you can bring them to Jesus and in them too his Word will be fulfilled: “He who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst”.
