Last Saturday, 5th February, the newspaper “O Gaiense” published, as a supplement of the newspaper, the newspaper of the Colégio Internato dos Carvalhos (CIC), entirely produced by the students and teachers of the school.
This publication is part of the ‘Better School’ project, in collaboration with the newspaper “O Gaiense” and the City Council of Vila Nova de Gaia, and challenges the schools of the municipality to produce a supplement to the newspaper. This is the sixth consecutive year that CIC participates in this Project which, despite being a competition, promotes a different way of looking at society and the world, a different form of intra and interpersonal relationship and is an excellent opportunity to exercise active citizenship and be protagonists of their own education.
In addition, in this edition of the newspaper, CIC has decided to innovate and include Augmented Reality technology (pages 1 -cover-, 2, 8, 12 and 13).
