MONDAY 24th JANUARY 2022
Mark 3, 22-30:
“Believe me, all things may be forgiven to men: sins and whatever blasphemies they say; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, he will bear his sin forever.”
If you are sick and refuse to be cured, you will hardly recover your health.
If you are sick and you want to be cured, the first thing you have to do is to be willing to be cured and to put in place the means to do so.
The scribes in today’s gospel, who see the saving power of Jesus, want to deny the evidence.
The saving works performed by Jesus are not attributed to the power of God but to the action of Satan.
They close themselves off and refuse to allow the grace of Jesus to enter them.
They blaspheme against the life that the Holy Spirit gives.
Be totally open today to the working of the Spirit of Jesus in you.
Do not doubt his salvation.
Jesus is the only WAY, the only TRUTH and the only LIFE.
