Serving the Word: 1st October

FRIDAY 1 OCTOBER 2021

Luke 10, 13-16:

“If the miracles had been done in Tyre and Sidon as they were done in you, they would have been converted long ago, clothed in sackcloth and sitting in ashes.”

Jesus today reproaches all those cities that have not recognised his presence and his salvation.

Cities like Chorazin or Bethsaida that have not appreciated the miracles he realised in them.

Today would be a good opportunity to stop for a while and review, even if only in passing, the many “miracles” that God has done and continues to do in you and in each one of us.

Continuous “miracles” that we hardly notice.

And it would also be a good occasion for you, as well as acknowledging them, to be grateful for them.

Ask the Lord to teach you to appreciate all that you have received and continue to receive from Him.

And raise your hands and your heart to Him with a grateful look.

Good day.
