SATURDAY 5 SEPTEMBER
Luke 6, 1-5:
“The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.
Jesus is above the rules and laws that constrain a person and do not let them be happy and live in peace.
Jesus transmits life to us and transmits it in abundance.
Living from the word of Jesus refreshes, encourages and oxygenates.
Because Jesus does not rely on what binds a person, but on everything that makes them truly happy and brings them closer to true freedom, to true joy and to true life.
Jesus is and will always be good news.
Dare to prove it!
Jesus makes it clear that love is above all else and that rules, when love is lacking, lose their meaning.
Try not to be like the Pharisees who believed that formal compliance with the law would obtain their salvation.
They believed that they could get to heaven by their own efforts and did not think that happiness is a free gift from God to those who open their hearts.
Open yourself fully to Jesus and live today simply the rules of love!
