Matthew 4, 12-17.23-25
“Jesus withdrew to Galilee. Then he began to preach, saying, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”. He went about all Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and proclaiming the kingdom, and healing all kinds of diseases and sickness among the people.”
Christmas time is over and we are back to the normality of our life. We each retreat to “our personal Galilee”: our jobs, our studies, our ordinary family life, our ordinary life of relationships with others…
Try to find Jesus there, in “your personal Galilee”. If you have found him in Bethlehem as a child, you will also find him in “your ordinary Galilee”.
Don’t stop from turning your life towards God and, as you go through “your Galilee,” proclaim the Gospel and do, like Jesus, all the good that is within your reach.
