Serving the Word: 4th December

SATURDAY 4th DECEMBER 2021

Matthew 9, 35-10,1.6-8:

“Jesus went about all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom and curing every kind of disease and sickness.”

+ How are you proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom?

+ What sicknesses and diseases are you willing to heal and cure during these days of Advent?

“When he saw the crowds, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd”:

+ Are you willing or ready to care for people who are abandoned and tired?

“The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest”:

+ Do you consider yourself a labourer or worker in the Lord’s field?

+ Do you pray that the Lord will send labourers into his field?

“Go to the lost sheep of Israel”:

+ Do you care for those people who are far away or who have never been in the Church?

Keep some of these phrases from today’s Gospel and some of these questions and meditate on them during the day.

Good day.
