SATURDAY 1st OCTOBER SEPTEMBER 2022
Luke 10, 17-24:
“The seventy-two returned rejoicing greatly, and said to Jesus, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name…. He answered them, Rejoice, for your names are written in heaven”.
The seventy-two disciples, whom Jesus had sent a few days earlier to proclaim the Good News, return rejoicing with Jesus.
They have experienced that with Jesus joy is created and recreated. Jesus is also infected with this joy and praises the Father because he reveals the joy of the Gospel to the ordinary people.
Work to live in simplicity and joy.
Think that the Father has your name written in heaven. And may this fill you with contagious joy.
Gospel contagion! You will see that you can trample on “snakes” and “scorpions”.
