Serving the Word: 18th February

Mark 9, 2-13:

“Jesus took with him Peter, James and John. He went up with them alone to a high mountain and was transfigured before them. Their clothes became dazzling white, such as no bleacher in the world could ever leave them”.

You and I and all of us are also called to be transfigured with Jesus. We can all be transfigured by the power of Jesus’ resurrection.

Ask yourself too if you really want to transfigure your heart.

Ask yourself if you want Jesus to transfigure it.

Ask yourself if you don’t want to have a heart of stone.

If you transfigure your heart with the transfiguration of Jesus, your thoughts, your words and your actions will also be transfigured and thus you will become a witness of the Resurrection of Jesus.

To be transfigured in Jesus we have to listen to Jesus. The Father has told us everything in him. We do not need to listen to strange revelations, apparitions or horoscopes. In Jesus all is said.

Behold Jesus today as the Word of the Father and listen to him. You will see and feel your transfiguration.

Good day to you.
