John 5, 33-36:
“These works that I do bear witness to me: that the Father has sent me”.
Once again Jesus resorts to his works to guarantee credibility in him. He feels sent by the Father to do the works that the Father has entrusted to him.
We already know what works Jesus realised. And these works are the manifestation of the Father’s tenderness, affection, forgiveness and mercy.
“No one can do the signs that you do unless God is with him”.
May your works also bear witness to your union with the Father. May your works also show God’s tenderness, affection, forgiveness and mercy for all.
Be prepared to live Christmas as a lamp that burns and shines, giving God’s light to all those with whom you deal during these days.
