Serving the Word: Lk 11: 29-32

Luke 11, 29-32:
“This is a wicked generation; it is asking for a sign. The only sign it will be given is the sign of Jonah.”

We are not ready to rely entirely on God. And yet, in some ways, we are always asking for signs of his presence, existence and closeness.
Just as we act mistrustfully with others, so we also act with God.
We don’t trust, if we have no evidence for being confident.
But with God this game or this logic does not work.
When you are changing your way of thinking, way of feeling and way of acting and you think, feel and act from the mentality, from the way of feeling and acting of God, you will realize that your life does have meaning, that you will be happy and that God is such a loving Father who is always there giving himself in mercy, forgiveness and in joy.
Don’t ask for signs or miracles. Simply ask the Lord to increase your faith and trust in Him.
Good day.
